What is the Catalan UP program?
UP to Catalán is a 9-month program designed for international students who want to fully integrate into the academic, professional, and cultural life of Catalonia.

How we assess
Continuous assessment
Assessment is continuous: we observe your daily work in class, assignments, and weekly follow-ups.
Daily work
There are tests, but daily work and progress weigh more.
Reports and recommendations
You will receive clear reports and recommendations for improvement.
Real-life situations
We want you to thrive in real-life situations: understand, speak, read, and write with confidence, interact with people from different cultures, and organize your study.
Activities portfolio
We will ask you for a portfolio (folder) with your activities and projects.
Class attendance
You must attend at least 80% of the classes in person.

Catalan UP 20 hours/week
Format: 20 hours per week. Spanish up to B1 and Catalan up to A2.
