Course overview
This annual course is designed for Spanish-speaking students or learners with at least a B1 level of Spanish who want to learn Catalan progressively, practically, and with cultural integration. The goal is to reach B2 level in Catalan in 12 months, combining dynamic classes with city outings, social meetups, and cultural activities from BCNLIP UP’s “Barcelona Immersion” program, focused on getting to know the city and navigating it independently.
Who is it for?
Spanish-speaking people who have a good command of Spanish (minimum B1) and want to work, study, or integrate into Catalan life.

A convenient and effective format
Monday to Thursday with regular classes, and Fridays with practical cultural immersion in Barcelona.

We want you to manage real-life situations: understand, speak, read, and write confidently, live alongside people from different cultures, and organize your study.
Activities dossier
Portfolio with self-assessment tasks for each unit and extracurricular activities.
Class attendance
It is essential to attend in person at least 80% of the classes.
Catalan 20 hours/week
